A native of the Pacific Island of Guahan, Craig Santos Perez immigrated to California in 1995. He received his MFA from the University of San Francisco (2006), and will be attending UC Berkeley in the fall to pursue a Phd in Ethnic Studies. His poetry, essays, translations, and reviews have appeared (or are forthcoming) in Tinfish, Sentence, Jacket, Rain Taxi, Traffic, Slope, and Calque, among others.
